Knoxville rock band The Dirty Guv’nahs will give away the group’s touring van “The Blue Bullet” as part of the group’s Kickstarter campaign to finance a new album.
The Guv’nahs are hoping to raise $20,000 to fund the recording and promotion of a new album to follow-up the group’s 2010 release “Youth Is In Our Blood.” As of Dec. 1, the group had already raised nearly $10,000.
The band’s donation packages range from $25 for an advance copy of the album and donors’ names being included in the album liner notes to a $125 package that includes an exclusive album of demos and rarities to a $250 package that includes a catered dinner with the band to the $3,000 package that includes the band delivering the “Blue Bullet” to the donor’s home and signing the title over.
