"Absolutely Fabulous"

LONDON — Jennifer Saunders, the co-creator of the BBC's award-winning series "Absolutely Fabulous," is planning a feature-film version of the televison show, according to various Internet reports.

The comedy, first aired on the BBC in 1992, features Saunders as Eddy, along with her sidekick Patsy, played by Joanna Lumley. The show, which returned for a Christmas special this month, has been off the air for six years.

The Christmas special garnered around nine million viewers.

According to reports, Saunders said she is "definitely going to do" a movie version.

There is already another "Absolutely Fabulous" television outing planned for 2012, on New Year's Day, with a storyline set around the Olympics, which London will host.
