Tennessee museums offer free day to celebrate governor's inauguration

— Museums and attractions across the state will offer free or discounted admissions 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, in honor of the inauguration of Governor-elect Bill Haslam.

The day of free or discounted admissions is made possible through an agreement with the Tennessee Association of Museums.

The statewide event includes the Knoxville Museum of Art, the American Museum of Science and Energy, the Museum of Appalachia, Farragut Folklife Museum, Beck Cultural Exchange Center, Blount Mansion, McClung Museum and many others.
