Crowds of people walk up and down Market Square during Sundown in the City.
If you're out and about on Market Square tonight enjoying First Friday festivities, don't be shocked when everything stops. Or, at least, everyone.
At 8 p.m. tonight there will be a freeze flash mob where participants will stop whatever they're doing, wherever they may be on Market Square (restaurant, bar, the square itself) and freeze for five minutes.
According to the Facebook invitation, more than 2,600 people have already signed up to attend. If you're interested in participating or just want to see a flash mob in the flesh (and not just on YouTube), check out this link to the Market Square Freeze Flash Mob.

Thanks for ruining the event KNS staff. Someone just had to prove how cool they are by spilling the beans.

You mean cool, like standing still for 5 minutes? Because that's pretty cool

It's actually to do something different and make people smile and think "wow, that was weird". Sometimes it can makes peoples' days and just make them laugh.

Anybody ever read "The Girl, The Gold Watch, And Everything", by John D. MacDonald?
I think it is pretty neat. Don't worry- there will be plenty of surprised persons! The cat is not entirely out of the bag...

Dude, its not been all over the freaking internet, has it? Was it your own personal secret? Ease up.

Isn't the whole point of a flash mob the surprise people get when it occurs around them? Not much of a surprise here....kind of lame.
