ASHEVILLE, N.C. — The Flaming Lips, Passion Pit, STS9, the Adrian Belew Power Trio and legendary synth-punk duo Suicide will headline the 2011 Moogfest, Oct. 28-30 in Asheville, N.C.
AC Entertainment organizes this Halloween musical festival in honor of synthesizer pioneer Bob Moog, who lived in Asheville until his death in 2005.
The Moogfest website has a full list of what it calls the "initial lineup." More acts will be announced as the festival draws near.
