In celebration of being one of the oldest independently owned restaurants in Tennessee, Peerless Restaurant, 318 N. Peters Road, will be offering a buy one entree, get one entree free at equal or lesser value on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 14-15.
The special is limited to guests in the main dining room and is good for the entire table.
In addition, summer specials at the restaurant include $5 appetizers during the 4-6:30 p.m. Happy Hour, as well as buy one get one for $1 drink special on house brand wines and cocktails. Peerless is open 4-10 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 4-10:30 p.m. Friday and 3-10:30 p.m. Saturday.

The reason they are doing this is to increase business. They got a failing inspection score of 68. "Food, including lobster, was not at the right temperature. The inspector found fruit flies and wrote that the overall housekeeping needs to be stepped up a bit."
They can't keep the place clean obviously. I wouldn't visit if the meals were free right now. And yes I hope the owner is reading this. Sounds like you need to clean house starting with some employees.
