A brutal October is over, and now the broken-down Vols are finally catching what looks to be a breather for its homecoming game: MTSU arrives in Neyland Stadium Saturday with a 2-5 record against mediocre-at-best-competition.
Oddsmakers favor UT by about 20 points, and two things about Derek Dooley’s Vols: They’ve never won as an underdog, but when they’re favored, they win. So this should be an opportunity for the Big Orange to lick their wounds and pick up a W in relative privacy — which will be a relief after back-to-back-to-back-to-back nationally broadcast floggings at the hands of Georgia, LSU, Alabama and South Carolina.
This is also a chance for Dooley to further sort out his quarterback dilemma. He says he’s giving very green freshman Justin Worley another start. But do you think he should go with inconsistent veteran Matt Simms instead? Either one should be good enough to beat MTSU, so what criteria should be used?

Frankly, it's going to be Worley's show for at least 3 quarters unles he starts throwing picks and can't move the team. Dooley and this team CANNOT afford a bad showing here. I do think, however, Simms will play and get a few series to have some fun.
