Applebee's offers free Veteran's Day meal

Veterans are being offered a free meal at all Applebee's nationwide on Nov. 11, Veteran's Day.

A select menu will be offered featuring such items as a 7-ounce house sirloin, the three-cheese chicken penne dish, double crunch shrimp meal or the fiesta lime chicken entree. Traditional sides are included with the free meal, but beverages and gratuity are not.

The offer is good for dine-in guests only and all service members must provide proof of service, which includes U.S. Uniform Services Identification Card, U.S. Uniform Services Retired Identification Card, Current Leave and Earnings Statement, Veterans Organization Card, photograph in uniform or wearing uniform, DD214, Citation or Commendation.
