Loretta Lynn
Country legend Loretta Lynn is rescheduling her Knoxville appearance for Jan. 27, 2012. Lynn was originally slated to appear on Thursday, Nov. 3, at the Tennessee Theatre for the theater’s “Stars on Stage” annual fundraiser. Lynn, 76, had already postponed shows in Kentucky and North Carolina after she was diagnosed with pneumonia. The Knoxville show was still planned to go on, but on Monday the decision was made to re-schedule the show for later date. In a statement released on Nov. 1, Lynn commented, “The docs keep telling me I must take it easy to recover.”.
