Free demonstration classes, a gathering of the monthly cookbook club and two culinary classes will be offered in April at Williams-Sonoma, 7600 Kingston Pike. They include:
Demonstration classes: "Cooking with Herbs," April 15, and "Juicing," April 29. Both classes begin at noon.
Cookbook Club: For $75, customers can participate in the monthly "Cookbook Club, which features a 2-hour class and three-course tasting menu featuring a different book each month. The April book is "Weeknights with Giada. The event will be held on Wednesday, April 11 at 6 p.m.
Culinary Classes: "Entertaining with the Seasons: Spring Dinner," featuring a menu of smoked salmon and watercress wraps, arugula, fennel and orange salad, lemon risotto and frozen tiramisu, 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 17 and "Hors d’oeuvres," featuring asparagus goat cheese tart, chicken satay with peanut sauce, corn cakes with smoked salmon and creme fraiche, spicy eggplant dip with Parmesan toasts and figs, prosciutto and St. Andre cheese, 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 26.
