Chez Liberty hosts seven-course dinner

Ken and Karen Wright will be special guests at the Ken Wright Cellars wine dinner to be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, at Chez Liberty, 5200 Kingston Pike.

The menu includes grilled ice spinach with dried apricot and candied Meyer lemon with vanilla vinaigrette; curried shrimp and mussel cassoulet; duck l’orange with guava-shallot couscous and roasted Brussels sprout; cinnamon and black pepper dry aged New York strip with luxardo cherry cream; veal osso bucco with Harney tea poached red delicious apples; smoked veal cheek with blood orange waffle; pork belly and sweet potato chips with black currant jam; grilled Berkshire pork with zahtar spiced risotto and hedgehog mushrooms; and a dessert of berry tart with cherry creme anglaise.
