A retail manager from Pigeon Forge will be part of the cast of "The Amazing Race" when the 21st edition of the reality competition premieres 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, on WVLT, Channel 8, CBS said Wednesday.
She will appear on the series with her boyfriend to which she is engaged. He's a lumberjack and an entrepreneur.
Sevier County businesswoman Sheila Castle is 44 years old. Her beau is Rob Scheer, 52, from Ketchikan, Alaska.
"Rob lacks tact and can be very insensitive," Castle said of her team's weakness.
"He also constantly interrupts me when I am talking."
"When Rob thinks he is right about something ... that's it, he's right. No one can tell him different."
Castle said she like to visit Italy and Greece. "Both have interesting cultures, history and gorgeous water," she said.
Other than winning the money, Castle says she wants to have fun during the "Race."
"Our goal is to spend a loving, fun, active and adventurous life together so I think 'The Amazing Race' is a perfect way to launch it," she said.
Castle manages retail, guest relations, meet with vendors and select products for a Pigeon Forge gift shop.
This season has a twist. The team that wins the first leg of the season and then out-races the other teams to win the final leg, too, will double their money and win a $2 million grand prize.
Three continents, nine countries and covering more than 25,000 miles, the teams will face a 10-story rappel in Los Angeles, frying an egg on their heads in Indonesia, working as "rat collectors" in Bangladesh and revisiting one of the show's most infamous roadblocks in the Netherlands, CBS said.

Rob and Sheila are a good bet to win it all. Rob is the man behind the Great Smoky Mountain Lumberjack Feud show in Pigeon Forge and a three-time Ironjack timbersports champion.
He's competitive enough that he'll sometimes fill in for one of his lumberjack athletes in the Pigeon Forge show. It's cool to see him in action in Pigeon Forge and know that he's going to be on a network TV show.
Win or lose, Rob and Sheila are great East Tennesseans!
