UT will help you sharpen your knife skills

The University of Tennessee will offer a noncredit culinary course on knife skills 6:30-8:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10, in the UT Conference Center downtown.

Students will learn the proper way to cut vegetables and herbs. Instruction from Mark McKinney will include peeling, chopping, mincing and other vegetable cuts. Attendees will need to bring a chef's knife, paring knife and an apron to class. Students must wear close-toed shoes and long pants.
