Muse Watson to perform at Princess Theater

Actor Muse Watson, right, who got his start with local community theater and owns land in Roane County, will reprise his role as the now-late Mike Franks in the 200th episode of "NCIS."

Actor Muse Watson will perform "I Heard the Bells On Christmas Day," an evening of classic Christmas music in a benefit for the Princess Theater in Harriman.

A former resident of Oak Ridge, Watson has appeared is several feature films and TV programs. His movie work includes "Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me," "Meeting Evil," "Sommersby," "Something to Talk About," "Assassins" and "Rosewood." He's probably best known for his role as Ben Willis, the villain in the film "I Know What You Did Last Summer." He has an upcoming role in the film "Compound Fracture."

He's also appeared in the TV shows and movies "Blind Vengeance," "Justice in a Small Town," "American Gothic," "Matlock," "CSI," "The Mentalist," "Walker Texas Ranger" and many others. He played the characters Mike Franks in "NCIS" and Charles Westmoreland in "Prison Break."

Watson will be accompanied by pianist and Sevierville physician Dr. Eric Littleton. Littleton has released four CDs.

The Princess Theater is a classic movie house that was restored in 2010 and expanded into a performing arts and education center. Watson owns property in Roane County and has been a longtime supporter of the theater and its restoration.

Tickets for the event are $10 and can be purchased at Rocky Top General Store and the Harriman Jewelry Exchange, both in Harriman. The Princess Theater is located at 421 North Roane Street in Harriman. For more information call 865-882-8867. All proceeds go to support the the Princess Theater.
