Fan tweets Taylor Swift birthday message, breaks into Nashville estate

NASHVILLE - Hours after sending Taylor Swift a birthday message, a man was arrested after police said he scaled the fence of a sprawling Nashville estate to surprise a woman on her birthday.

Jacob Kulke, who was charged with trespassing early Friday morning, told police he was dating the woman who lived on the property and had contacted her via social media, according to his arrest warrant.

On Twitter, “Jake Kulke” had wished the singer a happy 23rd birthday Thursday. He also said he “had to go see about a girl” Wednesday.
