The 2012 Super Bowl is now and officially the most-watched television event in history, drawing 111.3 million viewers nationwide.
The national rating was around 48.0.
In the Knoxville market, the numbers were big,too: a 46.9 rating (meaning almost half the televisions in the area were tuned to the game).
Starting close to 10:30 p.m. Sunday, "The Voice" — which kicked off its second season after the game — attracted a 19.5 local rating, meaning around the fifth of the homes around here tuned in.
