GFS ribbon-cutting ceremony set for Feb. 14

GFS (Gordon Food Service) Marketplace will have a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, at 9312 Kingston Pike where it will present a $1,000 donation to Serenity Shelter.

According to the company's press release, GFS is a non-member food service store that caters to restaurant owners and consumers alike by offering "restaurant quality food service products."

Grand opening festivities wlil be held from Feb. 14-18, to include food tastings and a chance to win shopping spree door prizes. On Friday and Saturday, Feb. 17-18, a Giant Tent Fest event will provide samples of the company's most popular items.
