Christie Brace of Knoxville got her moment in the sun — or make that the kitchen — thanks to Martha Stewart.

Brace will be featured on the next edition of "The Martha Stewart Show" (airing 10 a.m. Tuesday, Hallmark Channel).

The East Tennessee resident was selected from the audience to be Stewart's "Sous Chef of the Day." She joined Stewart in front of the cameras to make cauliflower steaks with roasted pepper and tomato salad.

The meal was part of a theme episode titled "The Bag Show," which taped on Jan. 11.

This particular piece of the segment focused on "a hearty vegetarian recipe for cauliflower 'steaks,'" according to information provided by the show.

-- Player. Alcoa resident Steve Marsh will compete in World Poker Tour (WPT) Venice Grand Prix event Feb. 6-10 in Venice, Italy. The tournament will air on Fox Sports Network later this year.

Marsh defeated a field of players in an online poker tournament early this year on ClubWPT.com, the the WPT's legal subscription poker room, and that allowed him to be in this tournament.

In addition to having the $6,500 buy-in covered by the WPT, Adler will also receive $1,000 earmarked for travel expenses.

-- Review. With a series of misfires over the past few years, Comedy Central has finally found a sketch show worthy of the cable channel's time with "Key & Peele" (debuting 10:30 p.m. Tuesday).

Comics Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele (both from "Mad TV") are behind this mainstream half-hour, which features them in every piece. The opener has quite a few strong moments — from two husbands whispering behind their wives' backs to a Lil Wayne prison video. Even better: You don't have to be a pretend hipster or a stoner to appreciate what they do.

Score:**** (of five)

Hooray Christie! *waves pom poms*

Congratulations. Sadly, because this article ran today, and since Stacey Campfield was not involved, this piece (and just about every other) will not get the comments it normally would have gotten, and that's a shame.

Also, good luck with your tournament, Steve! :D
