New Harvest Park Farmers’ Market, 4775 New Harvest Lane, will offer a cooking demonstration from 3:30-4 p.m. in the community building.
The menu includes pasta Puttanesca with olive rosemary pasta; tomato basil pasta bruschetta; and black pepper pasta primavara with chicken. Free samples will be offered. That event will be followed by "Gardening in a Heat Wave," a program presented by University of Tennessee Agriculture Extension Agents David Vandergriff and Neal Denton .
