According to celebrity website TMZ.com, Andy Griffith has already been buried.
The site says it confirmed the fact with a funeral home in North Carolina but could not confirm if he had been embalmed. (It's legal to bury unembalmed bodies in North Carolina).
TMZ says Griffith's request was to be buried the same day he died, and he was buried at 11:30 a.m. today on a family farm, just hours after he passed away.
