Have a hankering for some of "The Walking Dead"? AMC will satisfy your craving for the zombie drama in a marathon from the second half of past season (beginning 11:30 a.m. Sunday, AMC).

If you missed any of that portion of the past season, you've missed the best cable had to offer so far this year. Week after week, the twists were jaw dropping and the plot developments were no longer safe.

In other words, "The Walking Dead" went for it — and succeeded.

Unfortunately, devotees of the comic books can see the writing on the wall since many of these developments have been chronicled in the pages of monthly the Image publication.

Regardless, "Dead" is providing even its readers enough changes in development to keep them guessing when — not "if" — certain twists will happen.

Here are a few of the highlights showing up in the marathon:

Episode: "Chupacabra" (11:30 a.m.)

Daryl goes to the woods alone and encounters his brother, Merle, who is presumed dead. Rick begins to doubt his leadership skills in the wake of all the group has lost lately.

Episode: "Secrets" (12:30 p.m.)

Glenn and Rick holds secrets about other members of the group close to the vest. Meanwhile, Andrea discovers she has a knack for shooting.

Episode: "Judge Jury and Executioner" (5:48 p.m.)

A member of the survivors meets a horrible fate as Rick and the group debate to handle non-zombie threats to the group.

Episode: "Better Angels" (6:51 p.m.)

In one of the season's more stunning moments, Rick and Shane have a long overdue confrontation, and young Carl gets involved.
