Frightmare Manor to open for Friday the 13th (and Saturday the 14th)

Need some chills to break up your steamy summer?

Frightmare Manor, in Talbott (between Jefferson City and Morristown), is opening for a midsummer special this weekend in honor of Friday the 13th.

The haunted attraction will unchain its gates both Friday and Saturday, from 8 p.m. to midnight both nights.

As the story goes, the manor was once home to prolific serial killer Jeremiah Lexer, and the undead stalk both "Frightmare Manor" and "Frightmare Backwoods."

Admission is $15 per head, and the attraction is at 7588 W. Andrew Johnson Highway, Talbott.

Visit the Frightmare Manor website for more information and to buy tickets in advance.
