Three Rivers Market is hosting "Fermentation Fervor," a month-long celebration of fermentation, food culture, and local community.
On Sunday, July 22, at 3 p.m., Neranza Blount will speak at the store about her mother, Liliana Blount, proprietor of Liliana Blount’s Bulgarian Yogurt and author of "The Art of Making Bulgarian Yogurt." This booklet guides the reader through the steps of making Bulgarian yogurt without a yogurt maker and includes recipes using Bulgarian yogurt.
Three Rivers Market, 1100 N. Central St., will have both the books and Bulgarian yogurt starters available for purchase. Blount will donate proceeds from her sale of the books to the Young-Williams Animal Shelter.
