Oh, for the love of...

Why do we need a remake of Total Recall? It isn't like the original is old enough to have been shot in grainy black and white or something. Geez. I wonder when the remakes of the Harry Potter films will start.

The majority of society used to put up with the weirdness that is seemingly inherent in Hollywood because they brought us new and interesting things to watch. Now, the best they can do is remake (not very) old Arnold Schwarzenegger movies, re-release former 'blockbusters' (like Titanic), 'reboot' franchises that, themselves, are still fairly recent (Spiderman) or periodically churn out yet another banal romantic 'comedy' or another, moronic Adam Sandler feature. It seems that what was once a creative center for the world has become infested with idiotic, no-talent hacks whose imaginations only go so far as picking up a movie from the $5 bin at Walmart and saying, "Hey, we should remake this." Sad. Very sad.
