The same French magazine that got Megan Fox into hot water for dissing ugly girls has now bailed her out and retracted its quote.
The actress, a Knoxville-area native who still has family in Anderson County, drew an angry reaction for a story in the April issue of Jalouse magazine that was translated into English, attributed a quote to Fox saying, "I would not trade my place with an unattractive girl."
Fox immediately disavowed the quote and said the translation process (from English to French back to English) must have led to a mistake.
Eventually the magazine relented, and this week Fox posted on her Facebook page, "Regarding post on March 30th, Thank you Jalouse Magazine for printing the following retraction: 'In a Jalouse cover story featuring Ms. Megan Fox, we unfortunately misquoted Ms. Fox. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.' ”

Our media can't even spell their own native language correctly half the time! Thank goodness they do not translate articles!
