CAC Beardsley Community Farm, in conjunction with Slow Food Knoxville, will host the screening of "Food Stamped" at 8:30 p.m. Monday, June 11, at the farm, 1719 Reynolds St. Admission is $10 or a case of 12 canning jars for the Food in the Fort project and reduce the cost to $5.
The Plaid Apron, 1210 Kennesaw Ave., is the location for CAC Beardsley Community Farm’s Solstice Supper to be held 6-9 p.m. Monday, June 25.
Drew McDonald, owner of The Plaid Apron, will provide the meal, prepared using locally sourced ingredients. Vegan options available with advance notice by emailing beardsleyfarm@gmail.com. A presentation about the farm will be offered, and guests will get to meet many of the farm volunteers.
Tickets are $50 or $175 for a table of four. All proceeds benefit the farm. Tickets available at www.brownpapertickets.com.
