New Harvest Park Farmers’ Market, 4775 New Harvest Lane, is hosting its second annual Blueberry Festival Thursday, June 7 from 3-6 p.m.
The event will include a free 4 p.m. presentation on "Intro to Growing Blueberries," by proprietors of Greenbriar Farm and Nursery. There will be children’s face painting from 3:30-5:30 p.m., at a cost of $1 each and free taste-testing/judging of blueberry recipes prepared by a team from Pellissippi State Community College Culinary Institute.
