Andrew Bird and Yelawolf are coming to Knoxville, and tickets for the events will be on sale Friday (June 29).

Folk rocker Bird will perform at the Tennessee Theatre on Thursday, Oct. 4.

From an AC Entertainment press release:

"Armed with a violin and glossy vocals, Andrew Bird has been putting his unique indie rock spin on traditional folk for the better part of the decade, much to the delight of anyone who has had the opportunity to experience his arresting on-stage performance. Bird’s 2012 album, Break It Yourself, pushes his sound to new heights, blending tight instrumentation with his earnest vocals."

Yelawolf brings his Slumerican Tour to the Valarium Sunday, Sept. 13.

From an AC Entertainment press release:

"Southern-raised rapper Yelawolf is bound and determined to prove that the Crimson Tide aren’t the only national champions to hail from Alabama. From the moment he grabs the mic, every razor-sharp syllable of his critically acclaimed debut album, Radioactive, rolls off his tongue with enough speed to ignite every speaker in the building."

Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, June 29 at all Tickets Unlimited outlets, by phone at 865-656-4444 or online at http://knoxvilletickets.com
