The Clayton Center for the Arts will host the "Music in the Air" festival today-Sunday.
The music festival will showcase various styles of music in 18 different concerts, all in the comfort of four indoor performance spaces.
Musical styles throughout the event will include Dixieland jazz, Irish tribal, swing (with dancing on the plaza), dulcimer, pipe and drums, both men's and women's barbershop choruses, klezmer, modern jazz, brass, vocalists and Americana.
Highlight shows will be Friday evening with a concert by the East Tennessee Concert Band and Sunday afternoon with Dr. Bill Snyder performing on the Holtkamp organ.
During performances food and drink will be available.
Tickets for the performances are $10 for individual shows or $35 for a weekend pass.
