Kenny Chesney, dubbed "the fittest man in country" by Men's Health last summer, is the magazine's cover model for June.
In the fitness magazine's cover story, the Luttrell native talks about his diet, noting, "Growing up in East Tennessee, everything you do revolves around food." He also divulges his exercise regimen, which includes doing 300 pushups in 10 minutes.
As he gears up for his summer tour, "Brothers of the Sun" (with Tim McGraw, starting June 2 in Tampa), and new release, "Welcome to the Fishbowl" (release set for June 19), Chesney compares being on stage to running on a treadmill. He says he's deeply involved in planning every aspect of the show because he's a, "little bit of a control freak" and a "workaholic."
Although he eschews cigarettes and drugs, Chesney admits to imbibing in alcohol: "You can't spend 19 years on the road and not have a few drinks."
He goes on to say that after his tour, he's going to the Caribbean and, "I'm gonna have a couple of cold Coronas and listen to music and watch the sun move across the sky."
The magazine hits newsstands Tuesday.

300 pushups in 10 mins? Must be those 1" high push-ups, kinda like crunches instead of sit-ups. And I'm glad beer is part of his regimen. Did ya' know he shaves...head to toe?
