Bistro by the Tracks to host events
Master of whiskey, Kevin Mulcahy, will be special guest at a scotch tasting event to be held 6:30 p.m. June 5, at Bistro by the Tracks, 215 Brookview Centre Way.
The menu includes a field green salad with smoked potatoes, beets, and fig vinaigrette, jerked chicken with black beans, rice and raspberry coulis, beef short ribs with butternut squash risotto, fried calamari, aged manchego and smoked pecan pie with hot fudge sauce.
Cost is $70 and seating is limited to 20.
On June 6 the restaurant will host a Domine Serene wine dinner starting at 6:30 p.m. The menu will feature Thai crab salad, pot stickers house made duck pate, steak au poivre and banana pancakes. Cost is $70.
