The Cup, 5508 Kingston Pike and 11525 Parkside Drive, has designated Ronald McDonald House of Knoxville as its "Baking a Difference Charity" for November. The signature cupcake for this event is chocolate with strawberry filling and a heart on top. The Ronald McDonald House will receive 50 cents for every cupcake sold.
"Just Desserts," an auction to be held on B97.5 Radio, will offer listeners the opportunity to bid on one dessert per hour between 10 a.m.-3 p.m daily, Nov. 12 through Friday, Nov. 16.
Twenty dessert gift certificates have been donated, including those for Italian cream cake from The Lunchbox and Ye Olde Steak House; red velvet cake from the Fountain City Diner and Abner’s Attic; pumpkin cheesecake from Chez Liberty and Key lime pie from Marlin & Ray’s.
