Special to the News Sentinel The Museum of Appalachia near Norris will put tents on its grounds and host 68 dealers from around the country for its first "Days of the Pioneers" antiques sale and show.
The Museum of Appalachia, 2819 Andersonville Highway, Clinton, will host “Christmas Gathering: A Southern Bountiful Feast,” from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16.
The menu includes sweet potato casserole, chicken and dumplings, roast beef, candy apple salad, grape salad, deviled eggs and cornbread. Following lunch, guests will enjoy a wagon ride, followed by hot cider by the fire.
Cost is $24.95, $19.95 for ages 13-18, $9.96 for age 5-12. Children 4 and under are free. Call 865-494-7680 for information.
