Erin Atchley, left, will be on "The Price Is Right" at 11 a.m. Tuesday on WVLT, Channel 8. At right is Erin's husband Matthew Atchley.
She didn't make it to the Showcase Showdown, but Erin Atchley walked away a winner nonetheless.
The Knoxville resident and teacher at Central High School was a contestant on "The Price Is Right" Tuesday.
Before competing on stage, Atchley guessed the exact price of a treadmill, which won her the treadmill and $500. Once on stage, she competed in the "Race Game," in which a contestant is given four price tags and must place them on the corresponding prizes. She got only one price correct, but won the item: a 3-D TV.
"Meeting Drew Carey was a thrill, let alone getting up on stage," Atchley said Tuesday.
"The Price Is Right" airs at 11 a.m. weekdays on WVLT, Channel 8.
