How will the rest of UT’s regular season play out?

Oh, those awful 0-fors.

The Vols are 0-for their last three games, 0-for-October, 0-for-4 in the SEC. Meanwhile, Derek Dooley is 0-for-14 as Tennessee’s head coach against ranked teams.

That would all end with a win Saturday at No. 17 South Carolina (noon, ESPN). And a victory is conceivable: Unlike the four teams that have beaten Tennessee (and still only have one loss among them), South Carolina comes into its game with the Vols on the skids — a two-game losing streak.

Before the season started, UT fans expected the Vols to have a challenging October and then a much easier time (perhaps an undefeated time) in November with games against Troy, Missouri, Vanderbilt and Kentucky. However, while South Carolina seems a little vulnerable at the moment, Vandy is looking more menacing. And in truth, no game looks like a gimme anymore.

So we ask: How do you think the rest of the season will shake out?
