A Friendsville couple just missed winning a week-long trip to St. Lucia on "Live! With Kelly and and Michael" Wednesday morning.

The morning talk show (9-10 a.m., WVLT) selected Friendsville's Deborah Garrett to play their "Endless Summer" trivia game, which asks a viewer, via telephone, a question about the previous day's show. A correct answer wins the player a trip.

At stake for Garrett was a 7-day stay at the Morgan Bay Beach Resort in St. Lucia, valued at $8,500.

The question: What 2006 action film starred Gerard Butler (who was on "Live!" Tuesday morning)?

Viewers could hear Garrett (on the phone) repeating the question to someone else in the room with her. Show host Kelly Ripa joked about Garrett getting Internet help as the timer ran down and the Friendsville woman could be heard consulting with someone.

Just after the time ran out, Garrett shouted "300" - a correct answer, though it was too late.

Ripa asked Garrett who was helping her and she responded it was her husband, Roy. Garrett said she could really have used a vacation.

Ripa told her to put Roy on the phone, and Deborah did.

Ripa said, "Roy, you blew it!"

He responded, "Yeah, I did. ... I'm already seeing the eyeball (from Deborah)."
