Dozens of University of Tennessee students packed the south side of the south side of Ayres Hall to be on NBC's "Today" show.

The morning news program sent Sara Haines to campus as part of its "Kathie Lee and Hoda Go Back to College" challenge. If UT wins the contest, hosts Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb will visit UT in early October and do a live show from there.

Haines has been crisscrossing the country this week to visit each of the six colleges that are finalists in the contest. On Tuesday, she was at Ohio State.
