The Blount County Public Library is hosting "Teen Iron Chef Battle: Dessert" in conjunction with its "Reading is Delicious" Teen Read Week 2012.
Teens can form teams to compete for the title of Library Iron Chefs by creating a no-bake or no-cook dessert from ingredients provided by the library. The event will take place 5-7 p.m. Oct. 19, in the Sharon Lawson Room of the Blount County Library, 508 N. Cusick St., Maryville. Email rdurbin@blounttn.org for registration information.
