Terry Morrow was an early pioneer in the trend of writers shooting video of their subjects.

During his adventures in Los Angeles at the Television Critics Association gatherings, for example, he would often shoot footage of his subjects in candid moments - much to the chagrin of many publicists, who preferred more control over interview sessions.

Yet the actors, directors and singers who were Terry's subjects were often so disarmed by his personality and interview style that they would willingly play along, sometimes go so far as to aid Terry by sneaking off down a hallway or around a corner, out of the watchful eye of publicists and other journalists.

Meanwhile, Terry often found himself sharing the spotlight in front of the camera with his subjects, as when News Sentinel videojournalists recorded his interviews with celebrities.

Here are just a few of his memorable videos through the years.
