The acts for the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival are being announced today at the Bonnaroo365 YouTube channel between 1 and 2 p.m. The lineup will include classic rock, rap, Americana and world music artists, along with cutting-edge younger acts. Weird Al Yankovic is hosting the event and even fans calling in are expected to announce some of the lineup.

A significant number of tickets were sold last year at a discount price, prior to any information on which artists would perform. Further ticket information is expected to be released after the line-announcement is finished. Tickets regularly sell out before the festival begins.

More than 100 music acts will be announced during the hour and more artists are expected to be announced sometime in the near future.

Bonnaroo began in 2002 on the same farmland in Manchester, Tenn., where it has been held ever since. The festival was an immediate success and draws between 70,000 and 90,000 music fans to Coffee County each year. Previous headlining acts have included Radiohead, The Police, Bob Dylan, James Brown, Phish, Widespread Panic, Tool and Bruce Springsteen.
