Avanti Savoia, 7610 Maynardville Highway, will offer three March culinary classes.
An olive oil and balsamic vinegar tasting will be held on Friday, March 8, at two sessions, 6:30 and 7:45 p.m.. Cost is $5. At 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, Regina Long, chief decorator for Rosa's Catering, will teach a hands-on class titled "Fondant Intensive."
The two-hour class will include learning to carve a cake (using Styrofoam), and direction on working with fondant.
