Extreme Makeover house is not for sale

One of the feel-good stories of 2012 was the arrival of "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" on behalf of a local family.

More than 4,000 East Tennesseans helped to completely rebuild the Robinson Road home of Daniel and Mandy Watson, who operate the Restoration House ministry for single mothers.

Given the contributions of time, money and energy, the appearance of "for-sale signs" next to the home's driveway have prompted some whispers around town in recent weeks.

It's not what you think, though. Daniel Watson said Tuesday that the signs are from a neighbor who shares their driveway but whose home isn't visible from the road.
