Hot Buttered Rum

Ingredients

1 small slice soft butter

1 teaspoon brown sugar

Ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg and/or allspice (optional, to taste)

Vanilla extract

2 ounces dark rum

Hot water

directions

1. Place the butter, brown sugar, spices and vanilla at the bottom of an Irish coffee glass or mug. Mix well or muddle. Pour in the rum and hot water. Stir.
