Olive Garden writing contest for kids

Olive Garden is hosting its 17th annual Pasta Tales national essay writing contest for children in grades 1-12.

Students are asked to submit a 50-250 word essay supporting their ideas for ending hunger in their community. The grand-prize winner will receive a three-day family trip to New York City, dinner at the Olive Garden in Times Square and a $2,500 savings bond.

In addition, a $5,000 grant will be awarded to hunger initiatives in the winners local community. In addition to the grand prize, an essay from each grade will be selected with the writer receiving a $500 savings bond and a family dinner at Olive Garden Restaurant. Deadline to enter is March 22.
