The Black Keys, String Cheese Incident, The Avett Brothers, Alabama Shakes and Flaming Lips will be among the headliners at the 11th Annual Forecastle Festival in Louisville, Ky. The festival will be held July 12-14 at Louisville's Waterfront Park.
In addition to performances at Waterfront Park, the Forecastle Festival will feature late night shows on the Belle of Louisville steamboat and other locations in downtown Louisville. The String Cheese Incident will perform at the Palace Theater on Saturday, July 13, but tickets must be purchased in addition to the main Forecastle event.
Tickets for the three-day festival will go on sale on March 6 at www.forecastlefest.com. Tickets prices are on a sliding scale with blocks of tickets available at a certain price and prices increasing after those tickets are sold. The price levels are $125, $145, $165, $180.
Single day tickets and late night show tickets will be available in April. The festival daily schedule is expected to be released in early April as well.
