BRISTOL, Tenn. -- Comedian, TV host and budding snack-chip magnate Jeff Foxworthy has delivered literally thousands of his "You might be a redneck if ..." jokes during his career, but the popular personality told a Bristol Motor Speedway crowd Friday that one, in particular, has become his current favorite.
"If your son's name is 'Dale [Earnhardt] Jr.' and your name ain't 'Dale,' you might be a redneck," Foxworthy said, drawing laughs from an adoring speedway crowd during a Friday night appearance on the set of Speed Channel's "Trackside" show.
Foxworthy popped up on the live cable network program shortly before headlining a fundraising dinner for the Bristol chapter of Speedway Children's Charities. The comic also will attend Saturday's debut of the Jeff Foxworthy's Grit Chips 300 Nationwide Series race at BMS, which, in turn, promotes Foxworthy's new line of snack chips.
"They're like a cross between Tostitos and Fritos," Foxworthy said of Grit Chips.
