Mercurial comedian Lewis Black will be at the Tennessee Theatre on Thursday, Oct. 3. If you’d like to see the cranky comic - famous for his appearances on “The Daily Show” as well as his stand-up specials on Comedy Central and HBO - we want to help you get your wish.

We’re giving away tickets to Black’s Oct. 3 show. To enter, visit the Facebook pages of either Knoxville.com or the Knoxville News Sentinel and “like” the page and complete the simple entry form. Or if you already “like” the page, go to the page, click on the contest link and follow the instructions.

Entries will be taken from now until 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25.

The contest is open to all residents 18 years or older, of Anderson, Blount, Campbell, Claiborne, Cocke, Grainger, Hamblen, Hancock, Jefferson, Knox, Loudon, Monroe, Morgan, Roane, Sevier and Union counties. Individuals who have won prizes from promotions sponsored by Scripps Media, Inc. or the Knoxville News Sentinel in the past 90 days are not eligible. Employees of Scripps Media, Inc. or Knoxville News Sentinel and Tennessee Valley Agricultural & Industrial Fair, their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers and the immediate family members are not eligible. Limit one entry per person/household address, regardless of method of entry. No mechanically reproduced entries of any kind permitted.

The winner must pick up his or her prize at The Knoxville News Sentinel, 2332 News Sentinel Drive, between, 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., no later than Oct.3, 2013, after being notified.
