Dolly Parton was born Dolly Rebecca Parton on January 19, 1946 in Sevierville. She and her 11 siblings grew up in Locust Ridge, Tenn., in Sevier County. She had her debut on Grand Ole Opry stage in 1959. Her first single was "Puppy Love" which was released in 1960, and her first hit was "Dumb Blonde," released in 1967.

Sabrina Taylor and Tabitha Hall, both of Gatlinburg, won a night at Parton’s Tennessee Mountain Home and breakfast by the superstar at a recent charity auction.
