The dinner menu combines classic British Isles fare with more-upscale American-style dishes that have simply been branded with Anglo-sounding names. For example, the very working-class corned beef, cabbage and potato soup is offered in the appetizer section, but our order of Mulligan's mushrooms with lump crab and shrimp - though agreeable to the palate - was Irish in name only.

Similarly, you'll find entrees such as boiled corned beef and cabbage, fish and chips, and Irish stew offered right alongside items such as filet mignon, nut-crusted mahi-mahi, beef tenderloin topped with lump crab, and sea scallops and shrimp marinara.

Other thematic options to consider are the bangers and mash (Irish sausage with mashed potatoes and gravy) and the fisherman's pie with scallops, shrimp and salmon in a tomato basil sauce.
