"Preserving and interpreting the history and culture of the Ocoee District of Southeast Tennessee by highlighting the adventures of its people."
The museum features seven different exhibit areas, each one corresponding to seven different periods of the region's history.
The museum is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday-Friday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, and is closed Sunday, Monday and on major holidays. Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for students and seniors and free for children 5 and under.
